Wednesday Night Swing Jam at Elegance in Dance. 8:30-11:30PM. Every Wednesday we jam at Elegance in Dance Studio, $4 Cover. Free beginner lesson before 9PM, progressive lessons as per below.

Swing I Lessons on Wednesdays at Elegance in Dance. 7:30 - 8:30PM. Every month we start a new series of beginner lessons. Each 4-week series is either $8 per lesson ($5 students) or $25 ($15 students) for the entire series. Walk-ins are welcome for lessons 1 and 2, but we discourage dancers from starting in lessons 3 or 4 unless they have had experience with lindy hop. A partner is not required. The next series starts May 7, and the following series starts June 4. On May 7, we will cover east coast swing (a.k.a. jitterbug). On May 14, we will teach the basis of lindy hop, and on May 21 and 28, we will teach additional lindy hop moves.

The Shim Sham! There's an extra Wednesday this month, so on April 28th we're teaching that crazy choreography that all the kids love, the Shim-Sham! A fun line dance-style routine, the Shim Sham is something that every Lindy Hopper worth their salt knows. Come on down! $8 for the lesson, $5 if you're a student.

Mondays at UD. Lesson from 7:30 - 8:30PM and social dancing from 8:30 - 10PM. Location: McGinnis center, main room, one block NE of the Ben and Jerry's on the corner of Brown Street and Irving (see campus map and it's on the far right side). Cost: $5 for the year, $3 for a single semester. Limited parking; you can park on the surrounding streets and walk it, although there are a few spaces in front of McGinnis. Last meeting of the school year: April 28th.

Sunday Practice Sessions: location varies, check the forum. Almost every Sunday we offer free studio time for our dancers to practice whatever they want. There are typically at least one or two of the instructors there to ask questions. Check the forum under "local" for more info and scheduling.
